“ A lovely experience here last night. Food was excellent and such a friendly restaurant. My smoked salmon linguini was perfectly cooked and the 4 of us all had different dishes which we really enjoyed. Can definitely recommend ”
“ Ate here at Verona after seeing it on ITV series called Ridley starring Adrian Dunbar, Great food, Great Service, Great Pint of Peroni, Friendly staff 5* I had Minestrone soup to start(Was plain tasting, no flavour), Mrs had Garlic Mushrooms which she really enjoyed, For mains the Mrs had a Prawn dish(Which she really enjoyed) and I had beef cannelloni(It was amazing) and the Garlic bread was one of the best we had ever eaten. 5* ”
“ We were staying at the Premier Inn close by and needed somewhere for our family of 4 to eat. The place we wanted to goto was fully booked, so we went for a walk and came across this wonderful place. The starter I had, which consisted of mushrooms and black pudding, was delicious, and our garlic and tomato bread was just as nice. The mains were fabulous, the lasagne was perfect, the pizza with ham was amazing and my wife assures me the giant king prawn and pasta was great as well. Few nice pints of peroni and a large glass of wine with all the food came to just 75 pounds. The staff were great, and given that my son now supports Man City, we'll definitely be trying to get there a few times this year for the games and to revisit Verona. ”
“ More recent visit: My partner and I visited Verona midweek and had a wonderful time. We were both spoiled for choice with all the amazing sounding dishes on the menu. The man who owns the restaurant is very friendly with a great sense of humour. It was a nice touch when he came over to take our order. There aren't many tables so I'd recommend booking in advance as it always seems busy, and I can see why! Took my mother for Mother's Day. Phoned up on the day and they were able to fit us in at prime time immediately. Food was served quickly and tasted great for a very reasonable price. Would definitely go again. ”
